This wine was quite a task! The wet and humid conditions of the summer were unprecedented. Only because of meticulous grape selection could this wine become a reality. In a perverse sort of way, the cool summer actually made the wine better! Longer ripening times allowed for much more flavour and intensity, and stone fruit flavours abound. The result, with 100% barrel fermentation and a year on 50% new oak, is magnificent. Brendon Keys( the winemaker) we salute!
